What is the environmental impact of this improvement project?

The impact of the planned separated grade interchange improvements to SR 37 are minimal compared to large highway expansion projects that include adding additional travel lanes. While the detailed impacts will be identified in the Environmental Assessment to satisfy the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), it is anticipated that the project will have only minor impacts to social, environmental, economic, or ecological resources. There are no residences or businesses that are anticipated to be displaced because of the SR 37 improvements.
